Nicholas Chomic

Mr. Nicholas Chomic began his martial art training in May of 2018 under the direct instructions of Master Jan Lappin, World Tang Soo Do Association. After promoting to Cho Dan (Black Belt) in October 2021, he co-founded Chomic Combat Karate (CCK), St. Augustine, Florida in April of 2022. With the establishment of CCK he was able to assume the position of Chief Instructor and Sah Bum Nim (Teacher). In June 2022 he began his training under the direct instructions of Master Matthew Hutchison, WTSDA. He has not missed the opportunity to train and test his skills when the occasion arrives.

He is very proud of his children AnaBelle & William who have stayed with the art and has risen to their current ranks. He is so grateful for how much his wife has given her support, time, and energy during their training over the years. Her devotion, and support has been elemental to all of their success.

He served his nation by joining the United States Air Force, August 2000. His service in the Air Force lead him to many locations at several airbases across the world and he also deployed several times to Southeast Asia in support Global War on Terrorism Campaign. He came back home to Orange Park Florida in June 2015 to start a new life after his honorable term of service. He also, served as a Civil Service in the Department of Defense at Jacksonville, Naval Air Station.

His martial arts goal is to reach the level of Master, teach as many people that God will allow him, and spread Tang Soo Do by growing Chomic Combat Karate with his family.

SAH BUM NIM    

Sah Bum Nim means “teacher or transmitter of an art.”

Sah Bum Nim are distinguished as being wise and having exemplary character. All Sah Bum Nim are dedicated to reaching the idea summit of becoming among the most respected of mentors for all students.
